2009 GP survey under way
More than five million people can have their say on GP services.
GP Survey
The annual GP Patient Survey was sent out this week (5th Jan 2009), inviting a random sample patients registered with a GP to give feedback – on more issues than ever.
The biggest questionnaire of its kind, people can give their views on:
The surgery environment and helpfulness of reception staff Getting through on the phone Accessing GP appointments Satisfaction with practice opening hours Consultations with healthcare professionals Satisfaction with overall care at the surgery
The survey – running until April – also has questions about accessing out-of-hours GP services and planning care for patients with long-term conditions.
The results will be published in July and will be used to deliver more responsive local services. If you receive a survey make sure you fill it in and send it back.
