Consultation on Brent Children and Young People’s Plan 2009-2011
24 March 2009
The Plan describes how organisations will work together to provide excellent services for local children and young people

Brent Children and Young People's Plan (CYPP), 2009-2011
Final consultation period 24 March-24 April

The Children and Young People’s Plan (CYPP) is a document that describes how organisations such as Brent Council, NHS Brent, Brent schools and other agencies will work together to provide excellent services for the children and young people of Brent so they can overcome barriers, access opportunities and achieve their full potential.

The plan has been written with the help of staff who work with children and young people as well as with the help of young people from Brent Youth Parliament (BYP) who told us what was important to them and needed to be included in the plan. The plan sets out the priorities that Brent Children's Partnership (Children's Trust) will focus on for the next two years and how these will be achieved.

We would welcome your comments on the priorities and the actions that we are planning.  We would therefore welcome your input and invite you to contribute to the final consultation phase of this very important document.

Please read the plan and use the attached questionnaire to give us your feedback. Alternatively you can email us with your comments. Please note that the plan will be professionally designed prior to publication and once we have had an opportunity to consider the comments received as part of the consultation.  The final version of the CYPP will be published by the middle of May 2009.

Please send your feedback directly to Sarah Mansuralli by email at sarah.mansuralli@brent.gov.uk by 24 April 2009.

Thank you for taking the time to comment
