Baby Show event on Wednesday 23 June being held in celebration of National Breastfeeding Awareness Week
17 June 2010

In celebration of National Breastfeeding Awareness Week (21-25 June), NHS Brent, North West London Hospitals NHS Trust and NHS Harrow will be holding a Baby Show at the Vale Farm Sports Centre, on Wednesday 23 June.  The importance of breastfeeding has long been recognised for the health of both mother and baby, although there still remains a stigma attached to breastfeeding, particularly in public.

Entry to, and participation in, the event is free.  There will be workshops run by health professionals, expert speakers, as well as giveaways and money-off vouchers.  The centre’s toddler gym will be available for use all day, and a free taster session for their toddler swimming sessions will be available on a first-come basis, so don’t forget to bring a towel and a cossie!
