GP-Led Health Centre

The GP Led Health Centre is part of the Equitable Access to Primary Medical Care programme. A programme developed in response to the "Our Health, Our Future" NHS report which focuses on delivering new GP practices in the most needed areas and one GP-Led Health Centre within each PCT, in order to achieve a fair and personalised NHS.

This has provided an exciting opportunity to provide tailored clinical services in the heart of the community focusing on promoting health and increasing patient access to services. As such, NHS Brent is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from any suitably qualified party for the GP Led Health Centre. The GP-Led health centre will provide a range of services including minor surgery, contraceptive services and alcohol.

In addition, NHS Brent is taking the opportunity to tender existing GP Practice currently on a temporary contract. This practice is for registered patients only and the opening hours are not as extensive as the GP-Led Health Centre although similar services will be available to patients.

Please find below the advertisement for NHS Brent and the Memorandum of Information for both schemes. The Equality Impact Assessment and Engagement Strategy for this Project will follow shortly.
