GP
Your local GP surgery provides a range of services including: general medical advice and treatment; prescriptions; referral to a specialist or hospital; jabs and tests.
How to register you and your family with a Brent GP? You walk into your nearest surgery. You will need to provide proof of address i.e. utility bill and identification such as a passport, driving licence or birth certificate.
Need a GP over the weekend, during the night, or holidays? If you are registered with a Brent GP and become ill while your doctor’s surgery is closed, always call your own doctor’s surgery number. The answer phone message will direct you to an out-of-hours care provider. There is a single number for Brent residents who are ill and need to see or speak to a GP or District Nurse outside normal surgery opening times then contact NHS Direct on 0845 4647
