Health Visiting
Health Visitors are trained registered nurses who have undergone special training and experience in child health, health promotion and education. Health visitors aim to promote the health of the whole community but have a particular focus with families where there are children under the age of 5 years. Health visitors are very accessible professionals working with families in the home, GP surgeries, clinics and health centres. Their ultimate aim is to help families and communities to lead as healthy a life as possible.
