Occupational Therapy

The occupational therapy service is a specialist service for children and adolescents from birth to 19 years. The therapists work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing assessment and treatment through the use of specific selected activity. The therapists work closely with families, carers and schools.
The service can be accessed through a medical referral by anyone having concerns about independence in self-care, play development and school work.
The service is delivered to the child at home, nursery, school or in a clinic setting between the core hours of 9am and 5pm.
