Applied Research Unit
Welcome to the Applied Research Unit/WeLReN
The ARU is an operational unit responsible for clinical audit, clinical coding and research.
It also hosts the North London Research Network (WeLRen) and the Research Governance Unit (RGU) on behalf of the NWL sector.
WeLRen (DoH funded) is responsible for developing research capacity within Primary Care Services and the RGU provides research governance management support for research activities across the sector.
The Unit is affiliated with Imperial College (Department of Epidemiology and International Health and Thames Valley University (Centre for Health Policy).
